Little Creation's mission is to minister to preschoolers and their families, to express love of self and family and to teach how Jesus can be a lifelong friend. Our purpose is to provide quality care for preschool-aged children and to encourage their spiritual, social, emotional and physical growth through appropriately planned developmental activities.

December 2017 Newsletter

Thursday, November 30th- We will have our official “Lighting of the Christmas Tree”. All of our children make special ornaments for the tree. Please stop by and admire their handiwork.

  • Tuesday, December 12th - On Candy Cane day, we will learn the spiritual meaning of the Candy Cane and just exactly why the Candy Cane is red and white and looks like the letter “j”.
  • Tuesday, December 19th – We will have our class Christmas parties. Classes ages Infants through Five’s will have pizza for lunch on this day. Please send in $2.00 to your child’s teachers to cover the cost of pizza.  Also, please check with them for a sign-up sheet to bring in any extra snacks or drinks that will be needed for your child’s party. This will be the last day of Parent’s Day Out before Christmas break.
  • Tuesday, January 9, 2018 - This will be the first day back to Parent’s Day Out.
  • December fees are now due – Remember a late fee of $10 is charged after the 10th of the month.
  • This year for our Christmas project we will be supporting East Tennessee Children’s Hospital. We will be collecting the following items:
  • Travel size toiletries such as soap, deodorant, individually wrapped tooth brushes, shampoo, conditioner and especially new hair brushes. These are used for families that are at the hospital unexpectedly.

  • Activity supplies such as coloring books, small box of crayons (24 or less), Play-doh, construction paper, stickers books and glue sticks. These are given to the children to use while they are at the hospital or to take home.
  • Gift cards ($5 or $10 amounts only) to McDonalds, Wendys, Taco Bell, Zaxby’s, Jimmy John’s or Subway. These are restaurants within one block of the hospital. These cards will be used for families to help with meal expenses while their child is in the hospital.

We will have donation containers beside the Christmas tree.  Please bring all donations in by Tuesday, December 19th, our last day of school before Christmas break.  Thank you and your child for helping other children and their families during a difficult time in their lives.

  • Please remember our drop off and pickup times are very busy. With so many children entering and exiting the building, we want to make sure everyone remains safe. Please use extra caution in the parking lot at all times.
  • If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact Charlotte Chadwell at 922-7529.

The entire staff of Little Creations would like to wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!  Enjoy time with your precious children and we will see you again on Tuesday, January 9, 2018

Peanut Free Program

Little Creations is a peanut free program. This means that peanuts, peanut butter and any products containing peanuts or peanut butter need to be excluded from your child’s lunch. However, food items with labels that indicate “may contain traces of peanuts” are considered acceptable. We will make every effort to ensure that any snacks provided by Little Creations will also be peanut free. If you have any questions about an item your child would like to bring in their lunch, please check with your child’s teacher or the Director before sending this food. Thank you for helping make Little Creations a safer place for all of our children.
