Little Creation's mission is to minister to preschoolers and their families, to express love of self and family and to teach how Jesus can be a lifelong friend. Our purpose is to provide quality care for preschool-aged children and to encourage their spiritual, social, emotional and physical growth through appropriately planned developmental activities.

Helping preschoolers grow and develop just as Jesus did in "wisdom and stature" and in "favor with God and with people." (Luke 2:52)

  • Helping each unique child reach his or her maximum potential at his or her own pace.
  • Teaching preschoolers in a setting designed for multiple learning styles, personality types, and individual differences.
  • Providing opportunities to develop thinking and reasoning skills, use creativity, and learn to get along with others.

Three-year-old and four-year-old guides have undergone evidenced-based research and have been cross-referenced with Florida's School Readiness Performance Standards. To view the research and cross-references, go to the following websites: www.cdealliance.org and www.thechildrensforum.com.

May 2017 Newsletter

• Tuesday, May 2nd OR Thursday May 4th - WEATHER PERMITTING: Fun Day will be on Tuesday May 2nd, but if it is raining that morning we will move Fun Day to Thursday, May 4th. Please plan accordingly for your child. All classes will enjoy Fun Day outside playing a variety of games, jumping on inflatables and eating a special treat. Please let your child wear comfortable play clothes and apply sunscreen before coming to school. Also, please remember to wear socks because shoes will have to be taken off to play on the inflatables.
• Thursday, May 18th is the last day of school at Parent’s Day Out. We will also have our end-of-school parties on this day. We will have pizza for lunch. Please send in $2.00 to your child’s teacher. A sign-up sheet will be posted outside the door of each classroom for other items needed for the party.
• May fees are now due. There will be a $10 late fee due after the 10th of the month.
• If your child is returning to the program next year, or if your child has a sibling that will be coming next year, we will store your mat for you during the summer. If your child is leaving the program and has no siblings coming back next year, you will need to take your child’s mat with you on Thursday, May 18th.
• We hope you have a fun and safe summer with your precious children. We will miss our graduating children and wish them the very best as they start Kindergarten in the fall. For all the children returning to the program next year, we look forward to seeing you at Open House on Tuesday, August 29th. You will receive a card from your new teacher reminding you of Open House. The first full day of school for the 2017-2018 school year will be Tuesday, September 5th.
• As always, if you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to call Charlotte Chadwell at 922-7529.

Peanut Free Program

Little Creations is a peanut free program. This means that peanuts, peanut butter and any products containing peanuts or peanut butter need to be excluded from your child’s lunch. However, food items with labels that indicate “may contain traces of peanuts” are considered acceptable. We will make every effort to ensure that any snacks provided by Little Creations will also be peanut free. If you have any questions about an item your child would like to bring in their lunch, please check with your child’s teacher or the Director before sending this food. Thank you for helping make Little Creations a safer place for all of our children.
